The Weinberg Foundation hosted a Breakfast Briefing to discuss how much money The Weinberg Foundation will distribute in grants for the next two years, and the amount of funds available for new grants during the same period. Last year, the Weinberg Foundation distributed more than $106 million to more than 600 nonprofits. In the State of Maryland alone, 310 nonprofits received $39.4 million in grants from the Weinberg Foundation. More than 1,000 confirmed community, civic, and business leaders participated in the event, which includes an overview of the Weinberg Foundation’s grant application and review processes as well as changes to current grant guidelines.
