Goals for Homelessness

The Weinberg Foundation is committed to helping those most in need by supporting the transformation of homeless persons into healthy, self-supporting, and personal responsible citizens. The Foundation's primary focus in its homeless portfolio is to fund organizations that are located in Baltimore. Projects outside of Baltimore will have to demonstrate uniqueness and potential for replication in order to be considered for funding.

Special consideration will be given to programs that provide the following:

• Residential homeless centers that provide comprehensive services;
• Transitional housing for the chronically homeless; and
• Permanent housing for the formerly homeless.
